Steven Ogden, Chair

Senior VP, Government Affairs at Rocket Companies

Steve leads the professional services entity that supports Rocket Mortgage formally, Quicken Loans and the Family of Companies. Ogden also leads a team of people focused on strategy development, policy creation, financing strategies and engagement for the organization. Prior to his current role Ogden played a significant role, leading initiatives throughout the family of companies for Rock Ventures and for Bedrock Real Estate Services (Bedrock).

Mr. Ogden is a graduate of Michigan State University where he studied Public Policy. He is certified economic development professional and graduate of the National Development Council program at the Senior Executive Program at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government Executive Education Program, the Brookings Institution sponsored Leadership program, along with Detroit Regional Chamber’s Leadership Detroit program. Mr. Ogden is an Ordained Elder at Calvary Presbyterian Church and has served, or serves on many local, non-profit and community-based boards throughout Detroit.

Orelia Brown

Orelia is currently in her 4th year as a school counselor at a K-8 DPSCD school. Orelia has a passion for exploring and community. She has always loved working within her community and advocating for others and herself. When she became aware of the Chandler Park Conservancy, she reached out immediately to see how she could get involved in helping a much-loved park reach its fullest potential. She loves seeing her beloved city return to its former glory while also making room for the inevitable future and is very thankful to play a small part in that transformation.
